Claire & Jon – a super fun and pretty wedding at OH ME OH MY
Two of my favourite Liverpool city centre wedding venues have to be St George’s Hall and OH ME OH MY. I have shot many a wedding at these locations and I shall never tire of them. St George’s Hall in itself is one of Liverpool’s most iconic buildings and OH ME OH MY is lucky enough to sit facing 3 of Liverpool’s equally as iconic buildings, the Three Graces, which includes the world famous Liver Building. If you’re looking for the “wow” factor when planning your wedding venues, whether your congregation be intimate or large, the beautiful architecture and rich history that these buildings provide will definitely leave your guests gaping in awe.
I’m sure Claire and Jon were hoping for that exact effect upon their own guests on their wedding day, but they looked just so damn gorgeous themselves, I don’t think any of their guests even noticed the buildings
It’s bloody difficult for me to pick my favourite images from any given wedding, however I must say that there are two images from Claire & Jon’s wedding day that never fail to make me smile when I see them. Claire had just walked down the stairs in her wedding gown as her mum and dad waited patiently in the living room to see her. The very moment her dad embraced her I managed to capture his lovely emotional face over Claire’s shoulder. He soon regained composure and as she lent in to kiss him on the cheek, he adopted a typical silly dad “yuck, girl kisses” face. Such a brilliant set of images that reflect his wonderful personality and sense of humour. These are the kinds of pictures that I know Claire will treasure forever.
So, without further ado, I hope you enjoy this collection of images from my time with The Byrnes!
